Send In The Cavalry--Quick!

My Dear Gentle Readers,

Please do not misconstrue my silence as apathy. It is, in fact, anarchy. The plebeians living within my computer are wreaking havoc and I am powerless--not to mention--clueless as to how to bring them under martial law.

I have asked for reinforcements from the Realm of Techno-Geekdom and hopefully they will come to my aid before cyber termites eat my brain. In the meantime--keep writing and I will catch up once the uprising is quashed.

  1. Glad you're back. However, I'm making my exit. You know me. I'll be back up and running with something else at a later date. Just over it after a year and some. It's like taking a shower and putting on stale clothes, it can't be done. Time for change!

  2. And you will be sorely missed for the time you're away from the blogosphere! My pistons always fired up and my juices ran because of Corndog. You deserve the holiday for a job extremely well done.

  3. Well you know there's no avoiding chaos according to the theorists and order will be restored in time.A bit of apathy never hurt anyone as long as it's not for too long anyway and it doesn't become a habit.Good luck!

  4. Thanks, Von. I think that advice goes for both myself and for Red.

  5. What? What? You were on the computer at 7:13AM?

  6. Well, it's always good to be missed rather than to be wished away. I just need to get away from it. Right now it feels like a "to-do". I take a break and then I'm right back in the anxiety again. Weird right? AH well.I hope you stick with it for as long as it edifies. **HUGS**

  7. June--I'm often up even earlier than that. HRH doesn't sleep well and often requires my particular brand of entertainment. Other times it's because I haven't bothered to go to bed. Cable television is the Anti-Christ.

  8. "...my particular brand of entertainment" brings to mind a picture of you shuffling off to Buffalo, cane in one hand, straw hat in the other, while HRH drifts off to sleep with a smile on her face and the coverlet pulled up under her chin.
